Taehyun Jung


Taehyun Jung is an Assistant Professor at CIRCLE, Lund University. His research interests include innovation management and policy, intellectual property rights, public-private collaboration, social entrepreneurship, and nonprofit management. Before he joined CIRCLE, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Georgia Tech and as a scientific researcher at the Fraunhofer Institute of Systems and Innovation Research in Germany. Throughout this research experience, he continuously pursued issues in technological innovation and intellectual property management and gained hands-on research experience in inventor/innovation survey, patent bibliometric analysis, and international comparative studies of innovation, among others. He had presented his research in various academic conferences such as Academy of Management Meetings, DRUID, Triple Helix, Atlanta Conference on Science, Technology and Innovation Policy, APPAM, and ARNOVA, among others. Before Taehyun joined the doctoral program, he had worked for IBM as a business and IT consultant. He received his Ph.D. in public policy from the School of Public Policy, Georgia Institute of Technology and Andrew Young School of Policy Studies, Georgia State University. He also received M.A. in Economics from Yonsei University, Korea and M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Physics from Seoul National University, Korea.
