Torben is Assistant Professor at CIRCLE and Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI, Germany. Between October 2000 and February 2005, he studied economics with focus on statistics, econometrics, and dynamic macroeconomics at Cologne University. Between May 2005 and November 2007 doctoral student at the Fraunhofer ISI. Doctoral thesis written at the Chair of Financial Economics at University of Erlangen-Nürnberg. Exams passed in January 2008. Since July 2009 also research fellow at the Chair of Innovation Economics at the Technical University Berlin. Since July 2011 Assistant Professor at CIRCLE.
