Registration is now open for Knowledge Democratization for Inclusive Innovation Systems, an online seminar series aimed at PhD students, academic lecturers and postdoctoral researchers. The series explores alternative pathways for democratising knowledge in the Global South, with a focus on how advanced knowledge can better contribute to improving living conditions where it is most urgently needed.
Across five online seminars, participants will examine issues such as knowledge inequality, inclusive innovation systems, the role of universities, and opportunities for interactive learning and knowledge sharing. The series offers critical perspectives on current science, technology and innovation policies, while equipping participants with tools to analyse and strengthen inclusive approaches to development.
The seminars are given by lecturers from the University of the Republic in Uruguay: Judith Sutz Professor of Science, Technology and Society and Rodrigo Arocena Professor of Science and Development.
