Research day for early career innovation researchers
Tuesday, May 15th 2024, 9:00 – 17:00+ in Lund
CIRCLE, the Centre for Innovation Research at Lund University, invites all Early Career Researchers that view their work as related to innovation research, to join us for this Research Day. Our aim is to have a space and time to meet and (re-)connect across departments, faculties and universities in the region, to share work-in-progress, to practice (and enjoy) networking and find new peers.
Innovation research covers a growing range of questions, such as How can innovation help or hinder societal transformation towards just, equitable and sustainable development? How and why do public sector organizations practice innovative thinking and design, and to what effects? How does innovation affect jobs and the nature of work? How are the consequences of innovation distributed between and within regions and groups in society, and across different sectors?
If you are a PhD candidate, post-doc, research assistant or assistant professor and your work touches on innovation research, or if you are an alumni of one of our courses, and if you would like to meet others in this area of research, join us on May 15th in Lund!

Welcome and Academic speed-dating:
What path brought you to where you are today? Who’s your academic hero? What research struggles, concepts and questions keep you up at night lately?
Fika
Parallel Professional Development Roundtables on topics such as how to write a convincing abstract, what makes conferences fun, how to respond kindly to (unkind) reviewers, roles in research groups and collaborations, why writing about method matters, etc. Bring your questions and share your experiences.
